Whether you’ve always been a natural in front of the camera, or you were the child who had to be bribed and begged to even stand at the edge of a family photo, AG finds the best angles, non-awkward poses, and perfect locations.

AG's light, romantic style is perfect for brides and families who love the glow of natural sunlight and a feeling of radiance in their photos. With just the slightest editing, your photos won’t come back looking overly filtered or fake. Instead, your photos will be edited to bring out the best version of you. The images you’ll receive will preserve the significant moments of your life for years and generations to come.

Palm Springs – A Desert Oasis Like No Other

Palm Springs is a place like no other. Nestled under the San Jacinto Mountains, it has a unique culture differentiating itself from the rest of Southern California. Although it’s only a two-hour drive from Los Angeles, it feels like an entirely different state. Thankfully, it boasts an international airport making it easy to get to from almost anywhere.

Despite its oasis of springs, it is definitely a hot dessert town. This means that winter is the high season for tourism, with much higher prices, than in the quieter, sweltering summer. But even summer visits are worth it – just be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade. The area hosts several large music festivals throughout the year, most notably Coachella, during which all lodging in the area tends to be sold out. Checking an events calendar in advance will help alert you to dates which may be better than others.

Palm Springs is the perfect destination for anyone seeking a low-key, but still culturally stimulating getaway. Its mid-century architecture provides Instagram-worthy photo ops at every turn, while Its art and food scenes keep up with much larger cities.

The first choice to make is type of accommodation. The Coachella valley boasts several four- and five-star resort properties operated by large chains – perfect if you want all-inclusive modern luxury. For the classic Palm Springs experience, check out a one-of-a-kind mid-century motel or bed and breakfast. If you prefer a more unique lodging, check out the many home rental options on sites like Airbnb.

There may not be as wide a variety of recreation as in some other resort towns, but Palm Springs boasts plenty of activities in several realms. Known as a favorite golf retreat for U.S. Presidents, Palm Springs’s top courses maintain gorgeous greens year-round.

If you want to beat the heat and get a bird’s eye view of the area, start with the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, a cable car which takes you to the top of San Jacinto Mountain. At the top, not only do you get a whole new perspective on the valley, you get a whole new climate – often 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than at the base of the mountain.

The downtown section of Palm Springs proper boasts a string of art galleries, boutiques, and gift shops that range from kitschy to high-end. Most are locally run, but some sell more well-known brands.

And of course, there are the springs themselves. The Agua Caliente Hot Mineral Spring lies beneath downtown Palm Springs, and still exits, although the surrounding structures have been demolished. The spa theme permeates the area however, with many local resorts offering a wide array of restful, restorative treatments.

When it comes to food, the options are wide and varied. From hometown diner food, to modern hipster joints selling the trendiest meals. If you’re in the market for a good steak, The Edge steakhouse at the RitzCarlton in neighboring Rancho Mirage serves incredible dry-aged steaks with impeccable service.

For coffee, there are myriad options as well. For a cool, refreshing coffee treat, do directly to Koffi for a frozen mocha. If coffee isn’t your thing, Great Shakes serves up fantastic retro milkshakes.
